I've always wanted to work at a hookah lounge not only because of how often I was a customer at Fire hookah lounge, but also due to the passion I have for smoking hookah. Fire has had the greatest hookahs out of all the lounges I've been to, which is why I would commute the 45 minutes almost every day to smoke there. I don't mind the drive when I got hired either because of th eight standards Fire had achieved from my visits.

I enjoyed working at Fire because when I was a customer it had the ambiance of a chill, friendly environment and when I began working I started realizing the truth behind my opinion of Fire. I began building relationships with customers, my coworkers, and boss, Dre was the first person to hire me at a hookah lounge while many have told me no and I am forever grateful for. the opportunity because I truly love hookah and enjoy my job. I enjoy the environment, I enjoy the customers, I somewhat enjoy my coworker to an extent, I enjoy working for my boss, Dre, because he takes care of his employees like no other boss I’ve had, which in turn leads me to work hard to show my respect I have for his business and Hookah are above his standards. Working at Fire has had its pros and cons but the pros outweigh the cons by a long shot. Fire has opened many opportunities to learn life lessons, many new trades, effectively communicating with others, the value of good customer service, the difficulties of working in customer service, but mostly it has taught me, personally, that I should be proud to be part Armenian as it was something I typically wasn’t proud of because growing up in Glendale the young Armenian community there was/is nothing like the Armenian community that I’m surrounded by at Fire which I have learned to embrace both my Mexican and Armenian cultures thanks to Fire. There is never a dull moment at Fire and when I achieve my dream career and venture away from Fire, I can guarantee that Fire will always hold a special place in my heart.
